5 months

Asher turned 5 months today.  It's so hard to believe that 5 months have already passed by.  Asher is growing fast and changing so quickly.  Here are a few pictures that document what he's doing at 5 months of life.  Enjoy!

Asher does pretty good at sitting up by himself.  He does however topple over every now and then if he gets a bit too excited.

Here he is balancing at sitting up.  He is now in 6 month clothing and even that is getting a bit tight on him.  I'm guessing he's at over 17 pounds now.

Asher still has those big baby blue eyes and they are so expressive.  He loves staring at his sister and watching her every move.

Uh-Oh starting to topple over!

That's better - in the bumbo.  Asher loves to grab at his toes.  When I'm changing him he always tries to see if he can get his little toes to his mouth.  He hasn't been successful yet!

Sorry for the gross picture but puke is a huge part of Asher's life at 5 months.  This guy is ALWAYS spitting up.  I don't think I have ever seen a child puke as much as this one.  And the bigger joy is, now that we are feeding him solids his puke has colours and smells - double gross!
And so we had to change clothes...again.

As you can tell from this boys cheeks, he is well fed.  He LOVES food and still eats about every 2.5 to 3 hours.  He is not suffering.

Our beautiful baby boy.  He often smiles during the day and his smiles are so huge and so beautiful.  He will also give us giggles, he especially likes laughing when his sister tries to make him laugh.

Everything goes in the mouth.  This is Asher's puppy.  He loves his puppy and has him in bed with him at every sleep.

Asher we love you and our hearts grow every day in our love for you.  Your personality is becoming apparent as each day passes.  You are busy, you are very vocal, you love watching others, you love being in our arms and you love to eat.  Please don't grow too quickly!

  2. This post is one of my fav's! Asher is so adorable. I loved the little outfit you had him in. I loved how you captured all the things he is in to these days...especially the puking. I cannot believe you were able to capture him in the act....definitely gross. :)
