After eight long and wonderful but trying years of school it has all come down to this.  We spent the afternoon at Redeemer University College to attend our denominations annual Synod.  Here Roelof was officially recognized as a candidate in the CRC.  I was so proud and so thankful that this day had come.  It was especially special to us because this was the place where it had all started eight years ago.  It was good to see our denominations body clap, affirm and pray over Roelof as he now begins his real journey of ministry to the body of Christ.  They only down part is they spelled his last name wrong, but they pronounced it perfectly!!
