{Art & The Creator}

My daughter loves art.  She is always creating masterpieces with the little pieces of paper and scraps she finds.  She finds beauty in the smallest things.  She constantly amazes me with her thought process, her creative mind and her five year old execution of her art.  And its not just the colour on the piece of paper -- she finds it in nature, she finds it in dirt, she finds it in food and she finds it in flowers.  

In one of her colourings for school, her teacher let us know that she didn't just colour the picture of the cat, she choose to give it spots and another she gave stripes.  Its this mind that makes my heart soar and makes the tears well. 

Today I spent five minutes with Leah outside capturing her art.  She did all the arranging and collecting.
